The graphite shape in these rollers is spherical, surrounded by a layer of ferrite. The ground structure of these rollers is often perlite in low-alloy grades and often bainite in the alloy grades and thermal operations. In all grades, a considerable amount of ferrite has surrounded each sphere. Carbide does not form. The chemical composition and the way of production of these rollers are such that they have very good mechanical properties and good resistance to thermal shock and fiery cracks. The thermal resistance and high strength of these rollers make the use of irons very ideal in roughing shelves and cases that have a high pressure. Because of the spherical shape of the graphite in the structure, the strength of these rollers is very high and these rollers can also be used in rolling heavy sections. All these rollers are manufactured in a single layer static method.<\/p>\n
